I was so happy to see that you do miss us. ROFLMAO We have not died. Not at all. Robin had some domestic issues that took a good bit of her time and then the great powers of the internet and the gremlins who watch over computers combined to give me a very hard time in keeping up our schedule alone.

The book bugs will be back soon with new items…we’ll be finishing up some old items…and we’ll have a new posting schedule…so please stay with us.

Mediafire…our hosting company….is down. This means all our links to that resource are also down. It also means we cannot upload until they get it repaired. Ever have one of those months when you think the world is against you?

We’ll be back very soon

Oh, what a holiday! First, my computer died…and I got that fixed….then we hit holiday week which was immediately followed with “get your daughter to college” week. For those of you who have not yet had the joy of getting a child packed up, into a vehicle and moved 4 hours distance into a temporary living situation…well, it’s an experience. I won’t say more than that as I’d hate to ruin the surprise for you.

However, give us a few days to reconstruct our lives and we’ll be back with goodies for all. :D

Making Toys

Chapter 09

Sorry, for the missing posts, but my computer had issues and, of course, that has put me behind. In any event, the story continues and it’s very good. Enjoy the fun.

Making a home

Chapter 08

Well, it’s actually Chapter 1 of part 2, but that’s far too complicated for me and my filing system. So, we have Chapter 08.

Claus has a home…not just a house but a home.

Your turn to tell a story

Chapter 07

With this chapter, the first section of the story is concluded. Claus’ youth is at an end and his life as a man begins. It’s only fitting that the students take their turn at story telling now.

The Journey

Chapter 06

Claus goes on a journey to find his humanity. For those who enjoy Dickens, I’m sure the scene will seem familiar.

Claus grows

Chapter 05

Well, it appears Claus is growing up and must take a journey. A journey is a rite of passage in many cultures for a boy to become a man.

Here’s a link to a picture of some Victorian Christmas Ornaments. It uses the same technique I described in the lesson.

Claus is Adopted

Chapter Four

Claus is growing up a happy child. This is a great story and I’ve been enjoying doing it for you. I hope you are enjoying it too. It would be great to see a comment or two.

I also encourage you to add in some family activities to these suggestions so that the unit is truly personalized.

The child is adopted

Chapter 03

The fantasy continues with the child being adopted by the fairy Necile. Wow, what a job she’s taken on!
